King County residents who are in an eviction dispute with their landlord. Witten notice of eviction required. Does not assist with 14 day pay or vacate notices or provide rental assistance unless a tenant is in active eviction proceedings. Cannot assist if the dispute only involves repairs, deposits or roommates, past due balances from previous landlords, commercial tenants or foreclosures. Cannot assist with evictions from emergency shelters or residential care facilities (such as nursing homes). May be able to assist those being evicted from permanent, transitional, and manufactured (mobile home) housing. Can assist even if there is not a rental contract or lease.
