Description

Provides instruction for adults who seek to master or brush up on basic skills.   Adult Basic Education Offers adults an opportunity to improve their reading, writing and math skills to be better prepared to enter a college program or technical training, or prepare for advancement in employment. Instruction may include small group classes or be self-paced. Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon and evening at various times and locations.   General Education Development Test Preparation Offers classes to help students prepare for four separate tests in the areas of mathematical reasoning, reasoning through language arts, science, and social studies.   Classes are offered in the morning, afternoon and evening at various times and locations.  High School 21+ Provides an opportunity for adults age 21 and older to earn a Washington State High School Diploma. Students work with an instructor to demonstrate competencies in reading, writing and math contextualized in science, history, government, occupational studies, and digital literacy.   The program combines current coursework with previous learning and experience.
