Provides move-in assistance for veteran families and single adults.  Works with clients to help them find sustainable housing.   Case managers are able to complete assessments in the community.

Eligibility

A single adult veteran or member of a veteran household that is experiencing homelessness.   Income at or below 50% Area Median Income. Must also be a King County resident with a military discharge status other than dishonorable.

Suburban King County YWCA in South King County

Provides advocacy-based counseling and support groups for domestic violence victims as well as counseling for children who have witnessed domestic violence. Provides job readiness training and case management for those who are homeless or are at risk of losing their homes. Career development center at Greenbridge provides job search assistance to all South King County residents with a specialized program for young adults and classes teaching computer basics needed for office jobs.
