Eligibility

Children must have been placed as a result of a CPS intervention. Children must be younger than the age of 18. Families must be willing to work with the organization in the best interest of the child, apply for public funding and be in need of social work services.

Description

Provides individualized support services for kinship families. Kinship care is the full-time care and nurturing of children by relatives. Staff help kinship families apply for public funding, social work services, child development activities, school advocacy and other child-specific services. Focus is on ensuring legal permanency for children in the child welfare system.
