Food Pantry and Baby Cupboard offered at University District Food Bank

Operates a self-select food pantry. Provides diapers, formula and baby food when supplies are available.   Distributes pet food (primarily dog and cat food) to all households as requested with each visit when supplies are available. Food may be picked up once a week.   Provides home delivery to homebound residents in service area once a week. Ready-made to go meals available for customers without access to cooking facilities. Plus, the on-site cafe offers a ready-to-eat meal for customers while the food bank is open. Social services available including IDs, SNAP enrollment, referrals, and mail services for those in need of a permanent address.

Application process

Visit in person. See our website to make an appointment or join our waiting list for the day. Customers can attend once a week. Customers are requested to bring reusable shopping bags. Call for home delivery (no space on waitlist as of June 2025).
