Eligibility

Victims of domestic violence with family law issues. Serves King County residents or those who have a case filed in King County. Can potentially serve out-of-state clients by phone when the client has no alternative.

Application process

Clients must contact New Beginnings - Community Advocacy Program at (206) 783-2848 on Wednesdays between 1-3pm for eligibility screening. Appointments will be made for later the same day, unless the client requests an interpreter.

Clinic is virtual Clinic attorneys can: - Determine whether the client has a legal problem - Suggest possible options - Help answer papers, summons and requests - Provide appropriate referrals Neighborhood legal clinic attorneys are specialized in areas of family law.
