Children residing in the Federal Way School District.   Entering kindergartners must be 5 on or before August 31. Preschoolers must be 3 on or before August 31. District serves all of Federal Way and portions of Kent, Des Moines, Auburn, and unincorporated census-designated places Lakeland North and Lakeland South.

Public school system for Federal Way and vicinity provides basic education, career and technical education (CTE) courses, an alternative school, and programs for students who are non-English speaking, gifted or in need of special education.   Basic Education is provided at 37 different sites, Pre-K through 12th grade. Offers an advancement of a college-going culture, increased partnerships with parents and community, and expanded STEM access to all scholars.
