Offers general dentistry, including exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings and extractions.   Provides limited oral surgery as well as limited crown, denture and root canal services. May refer out for more complex procedures. Provides limited emergency dental care services. Common emergencies include: - Pain, swelling or infection of the mouth or teeth - Untreated cavities - Broken teeth - Broken or missing fillings - Bleeding gums due to periodontal (gum) disease

Application process

Call to make an appointment or confirm drop-in hours. Emergency patients must arrive at the clinic 90 minutes before the clinic closes. Dental care also available at most of its school-based health centers in Seattle and on Vashon Island

Patients of all ages.

Fee

Sliding scale fees are available.   General dentistry patients are seen regardless of ability to pay.   WA Apple Health (Medicaid), most Medicare Advantage plans, and private insurance are accepted.   Specialty care such as crown, dentures, partials and root canals must be fully paid before the work is started.

Operates nearly 30 sites in Seattle, Vashon Island and Olympia that provide general medical care, dental care, integrated behavioral health, social services, insurance enrollment assistance, and midwifery care. Not all services offered at all locations. Three sites coordinate a drop-in homeless youth clinic. Another is a site of WIC. Additionally one site serves only homeless adult, and they have school-based health centers in 15 Seattle and Vashon schools. Apple Health/Medicaid, Medicare and most insurance plans accepted. Insurance is not required. Discounts available and no one is turned away if unable to pay.
