Offers rental assistance to families who have utilized Mary's Place shelter or services in the past. Lottery based program ONLY OPEN to families who have been served by Mary's Place shelter and outreach/prevention services.

Application process

Visit website and fill out the eligibility screening form. Your information will be entered into a lottery for possible assistance. If you are selected, you’ll be contacted by the prevention team to complete a short eligibility screen to see if you qualify for assistance. If you are not selected that week, you’ll receive an email and will be re-entered into the lottery for possible assistance the following week. The online form is available in multiple languages.

Families with at least one minor child, who have been served through a Mary’s Place shelter, mobile outreach, or prevention program, or through the King County Emergency Family Shelter Intake Line.

Coordinates emergency shelter for single- or two-parent families with children. Provides partially self-managed drop-in day center for women, with or without children, shower and laundry services, telephone and mail service, meals, clothing, nurse services, help applying for transitional and permanent housing as well as employment.
