Description

Provides emergency services and operates a Level III trauma center on the East side of Lake Washington.  Serves as the back-up health care provider to Harborview Medical Center in the event of a large-scale emergency or regional disaster.   Under Safe Place For Newborns program, accepts newborn babies dropped off by the parent within 72 hours of birth.  The parent shall not be prosecuted, remains anonymous, and will be asked for medical history.
