Those that live within the fire district, an area immediately east of Auburn between the Green and White rivers in unincorporated King County (Auburn, Kent & Enumclaw), the City of Black Diamond and portion of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
M-F, 7am-3pm (if it is an emergency, please dial 911).

Burn permits can be obtained for free online for residents of the district. Burn permits are not available for those within Black Diamond City Limits or any "Urban Growth Development area", as outlined by King County and/ or Puget Sound Clean Air.

Provides Natural Vegetation Burning Permits and blood pressure checks. Communicates information regarding burn bans.

Mountain View Fire and Rescue

Provides fire fighting, fire prevention and emergency medical and rescue services for the areas of unincorporated Auburn, Kent, Covington, Black Diamond and Enumclaw, as well as the Muckleshoot Indian Reservation and the City of Black Diamond. Group CPR and First Aid classes are available on an arranged basis. Burn permits and blood pressure checks Safe Place for Newborns drop-off site (within 72-hours of birth) at Station 92, 96 or 98.
