Eligibility

Must self-identify as having an intellectual or developmental disability as well as family members, guardians, professionals and community members connected to someone with an intellectual or developmental disability. This includes diagnoses like autism, Asperger's, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, intellectual disability, fragile X, Williams syndrome, Angelman syndrome, traumatic brain injury in childhood, developmental delay, etc.

Offers information, individualized consultation, referrals and workshops about community and government resources for people of all ages. Common topics include, but are not limited to: - Social Security benefits such as SSI and SSDI - Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) eligibility and services - Special education - School issues - Early intervention and birth-to-3 services - Child care - Housing options - Employment services - Personal and respite care - Finding doctors or therapists - Transportation - Recreational activities - Guardianship and alternatives - Special needs trusts
