All cats/dogs over 5 months old must be licensed in the city of Federal Way,   Licensing requires a current rabies vaccination. Residents must be age 65 or older or permanently disabled to be eligible for the permanent license.
M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Call, fill out application online, or visit city hall or police department for an application.   Local pet stores and vet offices also often have application forms.

Per year: Unaltered dog/cat: $60. Altered dog: $25 for 1 year; $45 for 2 years; $65 for 3 years.   Altered cat: $20 for 1 year; $35 for 2 years; $50 for 3 years. Permanent license: Free if altered to seniors and people with disabilities.   Discounts offered for multi-year options.
