Supported Employment offered at Cares of Washington

Provides individualized job placement assistance to adults.   Additional services, such as longer term job coaching, community-based employment assessments and job sampling may be contracted under the fee for service program.

Application process

Call to schedule an intake (CARES application and release of information forms).   DVR participants must bring pertinent medical/psychological data to the intake. Call the intake number for more information on basic and additional services coordinated through DVR/DSB.

Fee

None for basic services.   Fee-for-service provided through DSHS - Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Division of Services for the Blind (DSB) and Ticket to Work through ADEN network.

Eligibility

Individuals with disabilities, ages 18 and older.   Participants must be medically cleared for work, must want to work and must be "work ready. "   Must have a realistic vocational goal and have a medical professional verify disability.
