Drop-In Day Center offered by YWCA Seattle King Snohomish Angeline's Center for Homeless Women

Offers drop-in day services for homeless and low-income women; no children.   Provides laundry facilities, toilets and showers, for use through a drop-in sign-up system. Distributes free hygiene items.  -  Showers contain one larger stall for women with disabilities. Offers mental health counseling, usually four days per week, and Health Care for the Homeless nursing services at varying times Monday through Friday.   Provides use of telephones and computers with internet access.   Offers daily meals from morning to afternoon.   Offers information and referral to other services.

Eligibility

Homeless and low-income women, ages 18 and older, who need a safe refuge from the streets; no children. Serves anyone who identifies as female.

Operates a women's drop-in center that offers hygiene facilities as well as hygiene items. Offers two servings of breakfast and two servings of lunch daily. Offers mental health counseling, usually four days per week, and Health Care for the Homeless nursing services at varying times. Enhanced night shelter program houses women actively working toward stabilizing and seeking housing. Also hosts a nightly year-round women's emergency shelter as well as 40 additional shelter beds for women in the winter.
