Operates a village of tiny houses at two locations for homeless single men, women, couples and families. 
Hygiene trailer on site with three bathrooms with shower. 
Washer and dryer.  
Provides a Kitchen tent with hot and cold running water, refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. Participation in operating the village is required. 
Optional case management provided to residents focused on housing navigation.  Case manager also connects participants to other availalble resources.

Tiny House Village offered by Nickelsville in Seattle's Central District

Operates a village of tiny houses for homeless single men, women, couples and families with children. Houses have electricity, are insulated and come with a heater. Waitlist is filled by participants in other Nickelsville sites. Charges utility fees.

Tiny house villages, housing units constructed using converted shipping containers and other modest housing options that are made available to homeless individuals and families as alternatives to units in more traditional (and more expensive) apartment complexes.

Homeless Alternative Housing Developments

Programs that provide temporary shelter for homeless people in outdoor locations which are equipped with tents or canopies, cots, and sanitation and cooking facilities; and which may assist residents who need linkage with community social service agencies. Also included are programs that build huts for use by people who are homeless. The structures are not considered permanent housing but rather are shelters which offer privacy, security, protection from the elements and stability.
