License renewals are valid for six years.  
Processes address changes. Anyone changing addresses within the state of Washington has 10 days to notify the Licensing Department. 
Office locations are available on the website. Some offices offer driving tests.

Issues driver license, instruction permits and ID cards. Provides copies of driving records on request. Accepts name and address change information. Residents can register to vote or as an organ donor. ID card free to people who are homeless.

Programs that provide financial assistance to help people pay fees associated with obtaining an identification card or replacing an identification card that has been lost or stolen in situations where they cannot otherwise afford one.

Identification Card Fee Payment Assistance

Programs that maintain computerized repositories of information about individuals who have registered their intent to donate organs and tissue and the conditions under which they may be used; provide cards that people who want to donate vital organs, tissue or their entire bodies (for purposes of anatomical study) can complete, sign and carry with them; or issue stickers which can be affixed to an individual's driver license indicating the intent to donate.

Organ Donor Cards/Registries

Programs that issue permits which provide written authorization for an individual to operate a motor vehicle on public roads and highways following successful completion of a written and/or driving examination and a vision test. These programs also renew driver licenses that are about to expire, replace driver licenses that are lost or stolen, and process name and address changes.

Identification Cards

Government offices that provide copies of voter registration applications and maintain official records of individuals who have exercised their right to participate in the election process by registering to vote. Included are the local Registrar of Voters offices and other government offices through which people can obtain and file their registration forms; and offices that are responsible for managing online voter registration. In order to qualify, people must be citizens; age 18 or older; and residents of the state, county/municipal district or precinct for at least 30 days. People are required to re-register if they change their names, their addresses or their party affiliations.

Voter Registration Offices

Provides an identification card for use as proof of military service for veterans with an honorable or general discharge. 
The Veterans Identification Card or VIC may be accepted by retailers in lieu of the standard DD-214 form to obtain promotional discounts and other services where offered to veterans.
