Provides advocacy-based counseling for victims of domestic violence.   Advocates meet with clients in a safe location to discuss safety planning, access resources, provide moral support and coordinate support groups. Safety is the primary concern for victims, their children, and the staff. Advocates do not meet clients in their homes and do not meet with couples.

Provides domestic violence advocacy services, such as: -  Case management -  Counseling -  Support groups -  Legal advocacy   Staff will accompany refugee women and their children of any ethnicity to shelters and will attempt to meet their needs by providing crisis intervention, support, translation, etc.  Also offers education and training to the community and service providers about domestic violence and refugee/immigration issues.   Child care is available on a limited basis.

Project DVORA works with survivors of domestic violence, specifically intimate partner violence. We help survivors who are currently involved in an abusive relationship, actively exiting an abusive relationship, or still experiencing abuse from a previous relationship (for example, co-parenting with an ex-partner). Advocates facilitate support groups and help survivors navigate the legal system, and share community resources. Our program also guides and empowers the Jewish community through prevention programs and trainings to local schools, rabbis, and other community leaders.

Outreach and community education about domestic violence is provided to employers, law enforcement personnel, health care and human service providers.   Also coordinates with Eastside services and systems to help keep the issues of domestic violence in the forefront of the community.

Provides non-residential, confidential advocacy services to adult survivors of domestic violence.   Services include:   - Safety planning - DV education - Legal advocacy - Help in accessing community resources - Limited financial assistance for basic needs per funders' guidelines while funds last. Note: No rental assistance is available. - Language interpretation is available in person as well as over the phone.

Provides information and support to survivors of domestic violence. Offers: - Counseling (insurance based and low and no cost) - Advocacy Referrals - Penny's Place Residential Program (by referral and application only)

Offers community workshops and educational events on domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Educational materials are available in several Asian Pacific languages. Direct services are limited to multilingual access to services through volunteers. Printed materials are available in various Asian Pacific languages.

Responds to non-criminal incidents and provide public safety related community service. Connects victims and people in need with resources.  Community Service Officers are the unarmed section of the police department; they will not respond to calls involving weapons or violent behavior.

Provides transportation in emergency situations, including child abuse and domestic violence. Offers crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence, and assists them in locating shelter. Handles runaway cases and incidents of abuse and neglect.   Community Service Officers are the unarmed section of the police department; they will not respond to situations involving weapons or violent behavior.

Outreaches at 50 different agencies, including police departments, hospitals and social service agencies, to help connect victims to domestic violence services.  Community advocates meet one-on-one with victims who are not staying at a shelter to educate them about domestic violence, discuss safety planning and provide counseling. Advocates coordinate with the criminal justice system and other service providers at the request of victims. Works with 17 police departments on the Eastside, making follow-up calls to any victim in a domestic violence police case who releases their name.  Child care may be available during advocate meetings.

Advocates for and supports Native women during emergencies. Services include the following: - Emergency transportation for victims of domestic violence - Safety Planning - Public benefit application assistance - Advocacy with Indian Child Welfare, Domestic Violence Court, Tribal Courts. - Flexible financial assistance.
