Coordinates civil arbitration program. All civil and non-domestic cases involving claims of $100,000 or less are eligible for the Superior Court Civil Arbitration Program including property or personal injury, motor vehicle torts, contract disputes, breach of warranty, collection, real estate, and other related conflicts. If a party does not accept the arbitrator's decision, they may request a trial before the Superior Court. Assists consumers with vehicle warranty complaints for participating manufacturers in Washington under the state's lemon law. Dispute resolution program attempts to settle automotive warranty disputes as an alternative to court. Complaints may be resolved via settlement or by arbitration.
