Hosts a legal clinic specifically designed to address the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and couples. This clinic is run by QLaw Foundation in partnership with the King County Bar Association. The clinic is open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. At the clinic, an attorney will meet with clients for 30 minutes and provide individualized legal advice and information. Clinic attorneys will answer questions and provide information in a variety of areas including family law, immigration, debt and bankruptcy, divorce/dissolution, employment discrimination, and transgender legal issues.

Provides a free elder law clinic for residents of King County. Provides a free half-hour of advice.    Examples of issues presented are   -  Health directives -  Power-of-attorneys -  Wills Some frequently asked questions include: "What should I put in my will?" "Can I legally place my father in a nursing home? "Is my will legal in the state of Washington?" and "Can you help me understand the complexities of WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and estate planning?"   Program is offered in partnership with the King County Bar Association and Senior Rights Assistance through Sound Generations.

Operates a toll-free centralized intake, advice and referral service for seniors (age 60+) seeking legal assistance with civil legal problems (statewide) Screens callers for income eligibility and type of legal problem. If it's not a problem CLEAR Sr can help with, they will try to refer the caller to somewhere that can help. Callers should be encouraged to gather documents and paperwork before calling the CLEAR Sr line.

Offers legal clinic twice a month with a pro bono lawyer who will answer general legal questions as well as provide information about immigration legal issues.

Offers a free monthly legal clinic to low income clients providing 30 minute consultations with an attorney on civil legal matters.   Can assist for any civil legal question, including but not limited to the following areas: -  Automobile Accidents -  Consumer Fraud -  Discrimination -  Employment Issues -  Family Law -  Financial Issues -  Housing Law -  Immigration -  Insurance Claims -  Public Benefit Claims   Attorneys provide referrals as necessary.

This is a partner legal clinic operated by the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Washington. King County Bar Association schedules clients for appointments for this clinic. Provides a free 30 minute consultation with an attorney on federal civil rights legal issues. *Most appointments via telephone with limited in-person availability in Seattle. Provides legal advice for the following issues for low-income debtors: -  Lawsuits and issues related to debt collection -  Collection agency abuse -  Supplemental proceedings -  Garnishment -  Auto purchase or auto loan disputes -  Consumer scams -  Contracts/warranties -  Identity theft -  Predatory lending -  Student loans (federally subsidized or private) -  Overpayments to debt creditors -  Poor credit -  Debts to a landlord, or client is considering breaking their lease Does not assist clients with bankruptcy, but can help a client decide if bankruptcy is a good option. Interpreter services are available to assist non-English-speaking clients.
