Helps people understand and receive services of Washington Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Washington State Department of Services for the Blind, Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation and Centers for Independent Living. Investigates questions and complaints with a client's vocational rehabilitation counselor. Assists clients in appealing decisions made by a counselor if negotiation fails. Teaches clients about their rights and protection under the law, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. Also provides information and referral to additional resources.

Advocacy also includes post-conviction relief, including records sealing, restitution modifications, and assisting youth with reentry supports when returning to community from incarceration. Assists families in accessing services for persons with autism, including how to work through the state's advocacy system for people with disabilities or how to work with a school district for special educational programs. Educates families about autism and refers to community resources.

Provides a service officer who appears before the Veterans Administration rating board and assists the client in obtaining rightful benefits.  Use of the officer can substantially minimize the time required for processing.  Service officers also assist veterans with disabilities in preparing claims for service connected compensation, hospitalization, occupational training, education, insurance, or other benefits.  No assistance is available for Social Security claims.

Special Education Coaching- Individualized coaching to help families advocate for their students and secure the services they need. Private Insurance Appeals- Comprehensive support for clients/families appealing unreasonable denial of medically necessary mental health benefits by private insurance companies.
