Helps prepare low-income and/or first-generation Seattle high school youth for post-secondary education through academic instruction and tutoring, academic and personal counseling, life skills and leadership development, career exploration and planning, college application assistance, financial aid workshops and college tours. Also requires a six-week summer academic program at Seattle University with high school credit available.

Offers a free after-school and summer program currently only for youth residents of King County Housing Authority (KCHA) in the Ballinger Homes Community. Provides a free after-school program with recreational activities, tutoring and homework assistance. Supports the academic and social emotional potential of youth by offering a structured program where students have access to resources, activities, and positive adult support.  Offers a safe, supportive and welcoming environment including healthy snacks.  Helps all participating youth to become well-rounded, contributing members of their communities.  Provides meaningful opportunities for youth voice, leadership, and service learning.  Students are encouraged to complete homework with mentors and participate in enrichment, recreation; physical fitness and life skills activities.

Offers an after-school program for Bellevue-area students. Activities include homework help, free play in the gymnasium and computer lab time. Free bus services will pick up students from the following elementary schools:- Sherwood Forest- Puesta del Sol- Lake Hill- Stevenson Offers two-week day camps in the summer.

Provides before and after school and summer programs to students who attend at the school site. Offers academic support and hands on learning. Collaborates with schools and community based partners to provide opportunities for students and families.

Coordinates a variety of programs to educate and develop youth and their skills.   - Power Hour: A homework help and tutoring program which offers separate sessions for grades 1-6 and 7-12.   - BE GREAT Graduate: Program for high school students. Provides 1:1 mentoring to those enrolled, assisting them on getting their homework finished on time, tracking grades for each of their classes, addressing school absences, and assisting with college applications, etc. Partners with local high schools.   - Club Read: 2nd and 3rd graders who need assistance in learning to read are matched with teen reading coaches for an 8-week program that runs three times per year.   - Smart Kids: For grades 1-5; assists youth with developing skills and knowledge to avoid alcohol and other drugs.   Computer access and basic computer skills tutoring is available.

Works in partnership with Kent Meridian and Rainier Beach High Schools to offer year-long after-school academic programs to all newly arrived refugee youth in high school. Classroom Assistants and students meet weekly to complete homework assignments, tackle the senior research project, and complete important college application paperwork, such as the FAFSA. Time is divided into classroom instruction, individual and group work, mentorship, educational workshops, and access to scholastic resources.   Both sites feature Classroom Assistants who focus on assisting students as they participate in academic activities to improve their reading and writing skills and increase their knowledge of college and career readiness. The program strives to provide the information, resources, and access to opportunities to meet and exceed grade level standards, while completing high school graduation and college application milestones in order to graduate on time and with plans to pursue post-secondary education. Also provides opportunities for students to participate in civic and community engagement projects to build their leadership skills as well as to complete service learning requirements for graduation.

Offers two evening programs per week - Music and scouting-type program for boys and girls ages 6-16 and a Youth Group for Middle School - High School students. Music and scouting program is every Wednesday. Teen night youth group is every other Friday.

Provides before- and after-school child care programs. Before-school program offers breakfast, quiet activities, art projects, gym games, computer time and game room activities. The after-school program combines children by grade with a trained counselor. Together they participate in age-appropriate activities. A nutritional afternoon snack is offered daily. Non School Day Camp is available for all school breaks.

Provides site-based literacy, academic support and family advocacy for three Highline-area apartment complexes operated by King County Housing Authority.   Services include Kaleidoscope Play and Learn groups, after-school programming and summer programming.

Provides academic support for Somali and Spanish speaking families and their elementary students at Kimball Elementary and Maple Elementary School. Twice a week, students receive academic support and literacy instruction from trained professionals and skilled volunteers.  Families of the students work with culturally-specific case managers to learn about the American school system and best practices for supporting their students.

During the summer, the Summer Splash program combats the "summer slide" by reinforcing literacy and math skills to help students maintain and improve their academic performance. Also partners with the Kent School District to provide free summer lunches for youth under 18 at all three program locations. The program operates at three King County Housing Authority sites on the East Hill of Kent: Birch Creek Apartments, Valli Kee Homes, and Cascade Apartments. Each community recreation center features computer labs, activity rooms, teen spaces, and a variety of recreational and educational programming to create a well-rounded experience. Students also receive healthy snacks to stay energized and focused. The program focuses on key life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and resilience, while fostering both soft and durable skills. With the guidance of positive adult role models, youth are empowered to overcome challenges, build confidence, and succeed academically and personally.
