Staff is trained to handle emergencies involving hazardous materials.
Provides free blood pressure checks.
Accepts newborn babies dropped off by the parent within 72 hours of birth.
The parent shall not be prosecuted, remains anonymous, and will be asked for medical history.

Health and Safety Education offered by Valley Regional Fire Authority's Station 31 and Headquarters
Offers CPR instruction and First Aid as well as programs about fire safety and disaster preparedness for Auburn, Algona and Pacific residents.
Offers the following educational programs:
- CPR and First Aid instruction
- Programs about fire safety
- Disaster preparedness for youth, older adults, neighborhoods and other community members
CPR classes offer certification for employment, but do not meet healthcare worker certification requirements.
Puget Sound, Renton, and Valley Regional Fire Authorities have joined forces to create an enhanced CPR and First Aid program. All of the classes provided are taught using nationally recognized curriculum by certified firefighter/EMTs. This schedule is managed & maintained by the Renton Regional Fire Authority

Community Services offered by Shoreline Regional Fire Authority
Offers classes for AHA HeartSaver CPR, First Aid, disaster preparedness and fall prevention for older adults, as well as fire prevention classes and information. Some CPR courses offer certification for employment.
Offers American Heart Association adult, infant and child CPR. AHA HeartSaver courses are held throughout the year. Students receive a two-year AHA CPR card.
HeartSaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements.
These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
For many HeartSaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.
Also offers fall prevention for older adults, as well as fire prevention classes and information at Shoreline Senior Center.
The Children's Fire Safety Center hosts groups of 15 or fewer for one-hour educational and play sessions targeted at 3-5 year-olds.
Programs focus on promoting fire and life safety for families.
Outreach programs are offered to Scouts, playgroups, teachers, church groups or neighborhood associations.
Presentation topics include:

- Senior citizen safety and fall prevention,
