Walk in primary care for acute and chronic conditions. Clinics held at free meal programs, day centers, shelters and encampments, providing basic medical care to homeless individuals and families living in South King County and Seattle. A doctor or nurse provides exams and treatment. Program does not carry narcotics or provide any prescription pain medication. Also offers: - STD, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, pregnancy tests and birth control - Access to behavioral health and chemical dependency specialists. Harm reduction services including clean needles and naloxone overdose prevention kits - Some sites additionally have mobile dental care (services focus on treating dental pain NOT preventative cleanings). Provides women's health care for the entire spectrum of women’s health issues, from preventative care and screenings to diagnosis and treatment of many gynecological problems. Gynecological services provided include:   -  Well women exams -  Breast exams -  Cervical cancer screening -  HPV vaccination -  Contraception -  STD screening -  Basic infertility evaluation -  Management of menopausal issues and of abnormal periods Office procedures include colposcopy, LEEP, endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy. Also performs gynecologic surgery   Obstetrics Provides care through pregnancy, during childbirth and up to six weeks following birth. In addition to birth support, services include family planning and education, nutritional counseling and pregnancy testing. Offers pre-conception visits to ensure that clients are aware of actions they can take to optimize their health.

Offers diagnosis and treatment of patients with sexually transmitted infections (STI) and their sexual contacts.   Routinely tests those aged 24 and under for: -  Gonorrhea -  Chlamydia -  Syphilis -  HIV Individuals, ages 25 and older, are tested based on their risks and STD symptoms.  Clients are also offered a blood test for herpes simplex virus-2 (HSV-2), the most common cause of genital herpes.  All persons wishing HSV-2 testing will be charged $30 for the test; the clinic cannot provide the blood test at no cost.  Those with herpes-like sores can have the sores tested at no cost. Additionally evaluates clients for pre-exposure prophylaxis, which is a single pill people take every day that reduces their chances of getting HIV if they are HIV-negative.

Provides anonymous and confidential HIV/STI testing six days per week. Testing includes Rapid HIV Testing (finger poke), HIV antibody testing, and screening for syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea and Hep C. For those unable to access Gay City’s in-person services, we also offer At-Home Testing throughout King County.
