TRP is designed to prepare woman for success in the skilled trades. Over 12 weeks, participants gain hands-on experience in a variety of construction skills, earn industry-recognized certifications, and connect directly with apprenticeship programs and employers. With ongoing support and career placement services, TRP gives women the tools and confidence to launch into high-demand, living-wage careers in construction.

Provides skills training to empower people to live independently in the community.   Services may include: -  Information and referral -  Independent living skills training -  Peer support -  Finding and retaining housing -  How to apply for Social Security, DSHS or WA Apple Health (Medicaid)/Medicare -  Assistance with employment including help creating a resume, job search assistance and job preparation services. Helps Latino immigrants achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing job training for domestic work including yardwork, green house cleaning, moving and more. Focuses on participation, network, promotion, training and job referrals.   Program held in Spanish.   Participants also take a health & safety workshop to learn how to: -  Avoid workplace injuries -  Properly use personal protection equipment -  Identify and reduce danger in the workplace This workshop is offered two times per month.   The health & safety workshop is required for those wanting to be hired through CASA Latina's day labor and employment services.

Acts as a direct referral from DSHS Community Service Offices for refugees new to the system who need employment services. Services include pre-employment training, vocational English as a second language (ESL) classes, skills training, job placement and customized employment training in specific fields, such as hotel housekeeping.

Provides a 3-week online job readiness course, combined with one-on-one job placement assistance. Program covers job readiness skills, 30-second commercials, revamping resumes, networking, interviewing, communication skills, online applications, Microsoft Office skills, soft skills and more.

Focused primarily on computers and iPad/iPhone use, this course meets weekly to instruct adult and elder clients on basic technology use in order to help them develop skills necessary for employment and day-to-day needs and opportunities. The course also teaches clients to use technology and social media to maintain communication, navigate around the city and stay connected with their community. Our clients are given new means to assimilate to their new home. This, along with the relationships forged among clients and volunteers, helps build confidence and prevents the isolation common to immigrant communities. In the iPhone/iPad section, clients learn to optimize its functions, which includes image sharing, translating text, apps downloading (i.e., Zoom, app’s function), map utilizing, storage managing, etc. The Digital Literacy section includes a bilingual Vietnamese and English computer manual, which provides a comprehensive understanding of the basic computer functions and tips to becoming familiar with the computer programs

The ARRC Program provides support for eligible ANEW pre-apprenticeship participants and Washington State registered apprentices. Services may include financial assistance for fees, tools, work wear, tuition, and transit, as well as employment navigation and barrier removal. Peer coaches support individuals in recovery from: - Addiction Issues (chemical/behavioral) - Mental Health Challenges (short/long term diagnosis, grief & loss) - Chronic Illness (HIV/Hep C – Newly Dealing/Newly Diagnosed) Peer coaches are individually matched with people seeking support in their recovery. The matched pair meets for one hour per week for 26 weeks. Coaches are individuals in recovery who have reached long-term stability. Peer Employment Connections Offers weekly peer support groups that support participants to address fears and barriers about returning to work or work through obstacles they are encountering in their job. Offers vocational assessments, job search tools, resume building, interview preparation, coaching, benefits planning, employment-related clothing and transportation support, and ongoing support for job retention. Resource Connections Offers individualized support to identify and access a range of community resources such as housing or medical care. Participants meet one-to-one with a peer to help make the linkages to essential supports.
