Limited English Pathway Placement Services   Offers job readiness workshops, job placement services, skills trainings, and job retention and county wage progression services as well as English language class referrals for King and Snohomish adults with limited English. Participants must be at least 18 years old and either a refugee with documentation or currently receive TANF cash assistance from DSHS - Community Services Offices.   This is a program of DSHS and the Office of Refugee and Immigrant Assistance (ORIA).    Veterans Administration Placement Services Employment and training assessment, job placement and job retention services for service connected disabled veterans referred by the Veterans Administration. Announcements of jobs within the state of Washington can be obtained at any WorkSource Center, Affiliate or online. Provides computer access to apply for Washington State Unemployment Insurance. Provides access to community and technical college programs and financial resources for retraining. Helps people find employment who have lost their jobs through company downsizing or plant closures. Other services may include the following: - Case management - Job readiness training - Career counseling - Vocational assessment - Individualized job search assistance - Job fairs - Employer connections - Career development workshops - Follow-up services - Educational scholarships.

Operates a drop-in center for young adults experiencing homelessness. Provides food, clothing, laundry, ADA-accessible showers and hygiene supplies as well as mail, phone services and computer usage. We provide some programming such as but not limited to, art programming, employment & education support, and access to Case Management.

Helps young womxn of color; focusing on Black women and girls, advance in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) career and education opportunities. Meet one-on-one with participants to set goals, check in, and offer any resources they need to get over barriers in their way. Hosts workshops on career readiness like resume/cover letter help, interview tips, and employment soft skills. Interviews women in STEM to hear their journeys, challenges, and do Q&As. Offers workshops on protective factors like self-care, microaggressions at work, and implicit bias in the workplace.

Offers services to help participants successfully integrate into the community through employment. Includes employment services, behavioral health services and care coordination. Provides vocational evaluations to identify realistic career options and work abilities. Offers job seeking skills training, which prepares clients to apply, interview, and secure a job. The CDL Program the opportunity to earn a Class A Commercial Driver’s License at no cost. Participants receive classroom and actual seat time instruction coupled with ANEW’s support services that help students overcome obstacles to landing and keeping high wage employment.

Provides Medicaid recipients with behavioral or physical health issues non-tangible person-centered supportive services to connect to and maintain employment. Offers an employment program to help individuals struggling with homelessness and other barriers find employment. Program offers case management and individualized employment plans, job search basics, career exploration and job readiness training.   Once enrolled, program may also provide additional community resource referrals, including the following: -Assistance with work related costs (transportation, clothing, housing, training supplies, etc. ) -Job readiness training and skill building (resume, interviewing, job hunting, etc. ) -Job search assistance and employment retention Support services distribution is contingent on program funding and is not guaranteed.

A variety of activities and program are available for teens in Redmond. Many of these activities are located at the Old Firehouse Teen Center in downtown Redmond. Activities include sports, music, arts, and tech, as well as leadership and volunteer opportunities. Counseling services are also available.

No computer experience necessary, however Keyboarding and Mouse class highly encouraged as a prerequisite. - Beginning PC Skills: Computer tutorial to help gain speed and confidence on a computer. Will teach how to manipulate a computer and create a document, as well as how to improve typing speed. All levels are welcome. - Mock Interview: Teaches valuable interviewing tips and provides the opportunity to practice frequently in a supportive and realistic environment. - Resume Critique: Provides resume critique and assistance from an employment specialist. Must have an electronic version of your resume, either on a flash drive or within/attached to an email. Must have two job descriptions of jobs you wish to apply to. Limit 8 people per workshop. - Resume & Cover Letters: Teaches how to write a compelling cover letter and resume. Basic computer skills and/or typing experience preferred. - Women's Worth & Rights in the Workplace: Provides tips and tools for effectively evaluating your worth and negotiation power. Will also cover local, state and federal labor standards and what to do when your rights at work are violated. - Interview Skills: Practice responding to typical interview questions and begin the necessary preparation to ace a job interview.

The PACE program is designed to prepare individuals for the skilled trades. Over 12 weeks, participants gain hands-on experience in a variety of construction skills, earn industry-recognized certifications, and connect directly with apprenticeship programs and employers. With ongoing support and career placement services, TRP gives women the tools and confidence to launch into high-demand, living-wage careers in construction.
