Provides one-on-one support and coordinate workshops in communities throughout Washington. Publishes PAVE Pipeline, a quarterly newsletter, for subscribers which offers information about upcoming workshops and articles of interest. Father Engagement: Provides fathers with information about the child welfare systems, the courts, child support, and to increase parenting skills. Fathers in Transition: Assists African American fathers who have been involved with the criminal justice system by providing employment and housing so they can positively impact the lives of their children and the community. Case managers and peer mentors meet with fathers weekly to provide support, community resources, housing and employment. Must also participate in Father Engagement. Young Bulls Fatherhood Academy: Weekly support services include one-on-one case management, life skills coaching, and workshops that provide access to and information about community resources, housing, employment opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and behavioral health services. Also supplies basic needs such as gas cards, food, bus passes, diapers, wipes and clothing.

What kind of tutoring, mentorship, parent support does this program offer?

Supports the well-being of families by providing a culturally-tailored early-childhood home visiting program for urban Native American and Alaskan Native children and caregivers in King County.   Provides classes to help teach parents about child development and building a supportive parenting community.

The Incredible Years is a parenting curriculum for parents of children ages 2-8. Participants can self-refer or be referred by a social worker. The class meets once-a-week for 18 weeks and covers such subjects as child-directed play, emotional regulation, and leading kids toward emotional and social success. Food and childcare are provided. There is no cost to attend.
