Organizations such as Sons of Italy that provide an opportunity for individuals who have a common cultural heritage to meet and socialize through dances, parties, picnics, barbecues, events for children and other companionable activities. Some organizations may also offer lecture series which address topics of interest to the membership or provide opportunities for involvement in charitable fundraising and other similar activities.

Ethnic Oriented Social Clubs

Organizations that provide an opportunity for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning to meet and socialize through dances, parties, picnics, barbecues, pride events and other companionable activities. Some clubs may also offer lecture series which address topics of interest to the membership; provide opportunities for involvement in charitable fundraising and other similar activities; or be specifically configured for LGBTQ individuals with other characteristics e.g., gender questioning youth, Jewish lesbians, Catholic gays or people representative of a particular cultural heritage.

LGBTQ2+ Social Clubs

Provides emergency drop-in support services for Native clients.  
Services include the following:  
- Advocacy/case management 
- Emergency clothing 
- Nursing services 
- Assessment and referral to drug and alcohol treatment 
- Cultural programming 
- Applications and questions regarding DSHS benefits, as well as BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) benefits. 

Also provides a place for clients to socialize, watch television, and participate in Native cultural activities. Offers Native arts and craft sessions weekly.
Operates as a cooling center during weather advisories.

Drop-In Services offered by Chief Seattle Club

Provides drop-in support services for adult American Indians and Alaska Natives, including clothing, nursing, health care, mental health, cultural programming, housing case management and DSHS support. Operates as a cooling center during weather advisories.

Programs that provide clothing for people who need it. Available items depend on what has been donated and is on hand at any given time. The collection may include but does not specialize in children's clothes, work clothes, maternity clothes and shoes.

General Clothing Provision

Centers where homeless people can spend time during the day or evening. Services may include counseling and/or medication monitoring on a formal or informal basis; personal hygiene supplies; facilities for showering, shaving, napping, laundering clothes, making necessary telephone calls or attending to other personal needs; and other basic supportive services. Some centers may also provide meals or facilities for cooking. Programs that focus on homeless youth may provide case management, living skills training, family reunification assistance, classes and other educational supports, pre-employment training, health education (including HIV prevention), help in obtaining valid ID and other services that help youth successfully exit street life and transition to independent living.

Homeless Drop In Centers

Programs that evaluate individuals who may have a drug and/or alcohol use disorder to determine the nature and extent of the problem; and which may make a recommendation regarding treatment or may refer the individual to a specific program. The service does not include a centralized triage function within the community or a formal relationship with the courts.

General Assessment for Substance Use Disorders

Programs that provide daytime or evening access to heated facilities during times of extreme cold for people who are temporarily at risk for exposure due to a power failure, fuel shortage, road closure, homelessness or other situations which make them vulnerable.

Extreme Cold Warming Centers

Programs that focus broadly on helping individuals who are having difficulty understanding, accessing, and/or are unaware of grants, payments, services or other benefits for which they are eligible rather than offering more specialized services relating to a particular type of benefit or service.

General Benefits and Services Assistance

Programs that develop plans for the evaluation, treatment and/or care of individuals who, because of age, illness, disability or other difficulties, need assistance in planning and arranging for services; which assess the individual's needs; coordinate the delivery of needed services; ensure that services are obtained in accordance with the case plan; and follow up and monitor progress to ensure that services are having a beneficial impact on the individual. Case management is a collaborative process characterized by communication, advocacy and resource management to promote high quality, cost-effective interventions and outcomes.

Case/Care Management

Programs staffed by nurse practitioners that provide walk-in preventive health services and treatment for people who have minor ailments such as ear and eye infections, strep throat, allergies, bladder infections or flu. They also administer vaccines and perform routine screenings. The nurse practitioners staffing these clinics have a four-year bachelor's degree in nursing as well as a two-year master's degree. A nurse practitioner is allowed by most states to prescribe medication and perform basic health care functions without direct supervision by a doctor. The clinics offer a low-cost alternative to doctor’s offices and other primary care options, and are often located in busy retail stores and shopping centers. Appointments are not required.

Nurse Practitioner Clinics

Programs administered by the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs or state or local entities that provide financial assistance and a variety of social services to meet the basic needs of eligible American Indians living on or near reservations or in other urban or rural settings.

Native American General Assistance

Programs that help people who have been released from a correctional facility (also known as returning citizens) make a successful transition to community life. Services generally include an assessment of the individual's needs, discussion of options and short-term case management involving coordination of needed services which may include housing location assistance, job training, job placement and retention services, legal assistance, literacy skills development, GED or other high school equivalency courses, parenting classes, life skills training, access to food and shelter resources, and other sources of support.

Ex-Offender Reentry Programs

Programs that provide classes, individual lessons or other opportunities for people who want to learn or perfect their skills and techniques in any of a variety of visual art forms or crafts.

Arts and Crafts Instruction

Programs that provide air conditioned facilities which are open to the public during dangerously hot weather. Spending a few hours in an air-conditioned environment can bring down the body's core temperature and make it easier to handle the heat. Older and/or frail adults, homeless people, parents with small children and persons with health conditions that may be made worse by the weather should consider spending time in a cooling center, particularly between 1pm and 5pm when temperatures are at their highest. Cooling centers may also have water and other liquids available to protect against dehydration, and some allow pets.

Extreme Heat Cooling Centers

Programs that assign a staff member to assist people who are looking for housing to survey the available residences and to choose and obtain the most suitable option.
