Coordinates support services for those who have experienced a recent loss. Short-term grief support and education is available to individuals and families following the death of a significant person. Facilitates open and closed support groups for adults and children as well as a support group for individuals with a developmental or intellectual disability. Provides workshops and presentations on a variety of grief related topics.

Provides professional assistance with mental health concerns for adults.   Staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurse practitioners and emergency room counselors provide a collaborative, team approach to patient care. Professional services include treatment for: -  Clinical depression -  Bipolar disorder -  Obsessive-compulsive disorder -  Post-traumatic stress disorder -  Social anxiety -  Panic disorders and phobias -  Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders -  Marriage and family issues -  Grief and loss -  Life transition and growth issues -  Relationship issues   Psychiatrist on-call 24-hours a day.

Offers support for women who are or have faced a pregnancy loss (miscarriage, stillbirth) Support is available online or in-person. Offers one-on-one, weekend retreats, and weekly group supports. Also supports women and families who have received an adverse pregnancy diagnosis and desire to continue their pregnancy. Connects participants to community agencies specializing in pregnancy and grief needs. Advocates between family and hospital staff if needed.

Offers support services for children who are facing or have experienced the loss of a loved one. Master’s level counselors can provide compassionate and knowledgeable support for grieving children of all ages and their families. Provides a variety of education and support opportunities, including: - Phone consultations - Grief support groups, activities and workshops - A special weekend at a summer camp - Individual sessions in the office, home, or school setting

Community-based counseling center provides a wide range of social, psychological, and readjustment services. Readjustment counseling helps veterans make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military. Offers Individual, group, marriage and family counseling as well as referrals and connections to other VA or community benefits and services. Vet Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the tragedies of war, loss, grief and transition after trauma. Services for a Veteran may include individual and group counseling in areas such as bereavement, military sexual trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol and drug assessment, and suicide prevention referrals.

Provides bereavement support to families grieving the death of their child. Support to children under the age of 18 who have experienced the loss of a parent/guardian. Services offered: - Monthly drop in hybrid support group for bereaved parents/guardians. - Pediatric grief support through workshops and support - Individual, couple and family support - Suggestions for reading materials on grief and referrals to other community resources - Grief education to schools, businesses, and communities experiencing loss - Quarterly community building events for grieving families
