Services are provided through licensed community mental health centers. Mental health services are available based on needs that are determined between the individual receiving services their mental health provider. Individuals can choose from a variety of different services and work with different service providers to set personal goals and achieve their full potential.

Community Mental Health Treatment offered by King County Department of Community and Human Services Behavioral Health and Recovery Division

Provides publicly funded mental health services to King County residents who qualify for Medicaid. Depending on circumstances and funding, also has limited funding to provide mental health care for people who do not have Medicaid.

Programs that coordinate access to outpatient mental health services and/or psychiatric hospitalization and residential treatment facilities in a community by evaluating the nature and severity of an individual's mental health condition, determining which service response would best meet the needs of the patient, doing an eligibility assessment, and providing a referral to (or facilitating placement in) an appropriate program or facility. Mental health triage services may be located in an emergency department, community mental health service, call center or co-located with other specialized mental health services

Central Intake/Assessment for Mental Health Services

Provides ongoing mental health services for adults. Services include mental health therapy, case management, and crisis support for current clients during business hours.
Once a client is engaged in therapy or case management, referrals for psychiatric evaluations can be made to help determine appropriate treatment, including medication management when needed.
Also offers referrals to its supportive housing and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs, as appropriate.

Adult Outpatient Treatment offered at Navos Mental Health & Wellness Center

Provides crisis intervention services for adults as well as the opportunity for ongoing mental health treatment. Offers psychiatric evaluations to determine direction of treatment services.

Programs that specialize in the treatment of individuals who have identified mental or emotional disorders with the objective of helping them to eliminate or reduce the severity of their symptoms, to mediate disturbed patterns of behavior, to promote positive personality growth and development and to maximize the individual's ability to function as independently as possible. Treatment may utilize therapeutic techniques derived from one or more theoretical counseling approaches.

Psychiatric Disorder Counseling

Programs that provide an opportunity for people who are emotionally distressed and/or for their significant others to meet face-to-face with someone who has been trained to assess and resolve the immediate crisis, if possible, and to link the person with appropriate resources for ongoing assistance.
