Telephone line features a quit coach can help create a personalized quit plan, provide recent information on topics related to smoking and quitting tobacco.   Callers also can receive a step-by-step quit smoking guide.    Promotes a phone app to help quit smoking. Users who complete a survey and who live in Washington state gain access to all the app features. Also offers a support program for teens. Substance Use Disorder Services for Adults: State-certified Substance Use Disorder Treatment program helps individuals who struggle with substance use disorder or co-occurring disorder abstain from drug and alcohol use, improve their physical and mental health and improve their quality of life.   Offers both outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment at the ACRS main site. Includes:  -SUD assessment for inpatient referral - Counseling - Support groups -  Case management services  - Substance Use Disorder Services for Youth: Provides mental health and substance use disorder services, -  Individual Counseling -  Family Counseling -  Group counseling -  Case management services   -  GAIN assessment   Services are provided throughout King County, usually at home, school, or other community settings. Case managers also function as an educational and supportive link to broader mainstream services and the Asian Pacific American families they serve. Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Addresses the threats of commercial tobacco and vaping use to raise awareness about the harmful and life-threatening effects of tobacco, exposure to secondhand smoke and the impact of vaping among youth and young adults in the Latino community. Promotes and refers information to prevent youth from starting to use marijuana. Educates Latino parents, care givers and other influential adult engagement in youth marijuana prevention.

Provides education, coaching and counseling on a range of lung health and disease topics, and connects residents to local and online education, support groups, healthcare centers, providers, and medical equipment resources based on individual needs. Line is staffed by registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and tobacco treatment specialists. Provides information on a variety of lung health topics, including: respiratory diseases, smoking cessation, respiratory therapy and pulmonary testing, lung health medication, and air pollution.

Offers a wide variety of health education classes, workshops and support groups, including the following: -  Childbirth preparation classes -  New parent classes -  Smoking cessation classes -  Senior health classes -  CPR classes -  Support groups for people with specific chronic conditions.

Operates a helpline for veterans where they can speak with a smoking cessation counselor to receive: -  Help developing a quit plan -  Individualized counseling -  Strategies to prevent relapse -  Follow-up calls to help you stay quit   Counselor may ask specific questions about tobacco use, quitting history and motivations to quit to help create a quit plan. Any information provided to the counselor during the call is kept private.   Counselors are unable to provide smoking cessation medications. Callers should talk to their VA health care provider about using medication, and let them know they are using the Quit VET helpline.   Veterans may be able to get a prescription for nicotine gum, patch, or lozenge, or for bupropion, another medication for smoking cessation available through the VA.
