Structured Housing for Men offered at House of Mercy
Church offers a faith-based transition program for men who are recovering from substance use disorder, who are homeless, or for those being released from prison. Houses are located in King, Pierce, Yakima, Whatcom, and Spokane counties.
Offers a faith-based clean & sober housing program for men, providing structure and support.
Assists in developing healthy, responsible decision-making in the lives of all participants.
Operates 17 residential programs in King County, 3 in Pierce County, 6 in Spokane County, 2 in Yakima County, and 2 in Whatcom County.
Program involves character development programming, including the following:
- Pastoral counseling
- Bible studies
- House meetings
- Recovery meetings
- Personal accountability meetings
- Financial Planning meetings
Residents are encouraged to obtain employment. Employment assistance is offered through a network of supporting employers and organizations.
Also assists residents with the following:
- Fulfilling DOC requirements, if needed
- Obtaining driver's license and/or ID card
- DSHS Food stamps and public assistance
- Resume preparation and employment resources
Participants are asked to commit to three months in the program, but can stay longer if desired.

Rita's House Transitional Housing offered by Catholic Community Services' Housing Services
Provides alcohol- and drug-free transitional housing and case management for homeless women in addiction recovery or who are being released from jail. REFERRAL PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
Provides alcohol/drug-free transitional housing for six women in addiction recovery.
Case manager is onsite to assist with probation requirements, employment, permanent housing and comprehensive social needs.
Women may stay up to two years, with aftercare services provided for an additional year.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment offered at Muckleshoot Indian Tribe - Muckleshoot Behavioral Health Program
Provides intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility and follow-up; serves Native Americans in South King County (including youth).
Outpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility provides assessment, outpatient treatment, monthly treatment groups and aftercare services for adults and youth. Treatment program incorporates counseling, cultural and educational components and a 16 bed recovery house. Refers to other appropriate programs as needed. Substance use disorder may include alcohol, cocaine, heroin and marijuana. Works with clients on Suboxone and can connect client to Suboxone for use during treatment. Individual, family and conjoint mental health therapy and psychiatric care for adults and youth are also offered to eligible clients. DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment. Intensive Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development). Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Provides dormitory and apartment style housing, as well as case management, for women recovering from substance abuse and transitioning from a treatment facility. Must be below 30% of the area median income.
Operates housing for women recovering from substance use disorder. Offers housing in a dormitory style facility with individual bedrooms but shared living room, kitchen, bathrooms and laundry.
Provides case management to help the women with immediate needs as well as set long-term goals while remaining drug- and alcohol-free.

Compassion Transitional Houses offered at Acres of Diamonds
Provides Christian-based transitional housing for women and their children. Serves women transitioning away from addiction, domestic violence, and other circumstances.
Shared housing facility. Residents have their own lockable room, with the rest of the house being shared with other women and their kids. Acres is a safe and zero tolerance program with random drug testing. The program is designed to help women get back on their feet.
Program includes case management, budgeting classes, parenting classes, healthy boundaries, relationships classes, once a week shared meals, daily chores, curfews, and grace group, etc.

Recovery Program for Men offered at Immanuel Community Services
Provides a 12-month intensive residential program for single homeless men in recovery from addiction; REFERRAL REQUIRED from a treatment program; clients must be 14 days clean and sober.
Provides a residential recovery program for up to 15 homeless men in recovery from drug and/or alcohol abuse. Shelter residents must actively participate in intensive outpatient treatment with the Matt Talbot Treatment Center during the week. Clients sleep in a gymnasium at night and are provided a mat, linens, towel and basic toiletries. Clients share responsibility for cooking, cleaning and security, and participate in meetings on topics such as anger management, conflict resolution, hygiene and effective communication.
