Adopt-a-Street Community Cleanup Program offered by Seattle Public Utilities

Provides volunteers with free paint and safety equipment to remove graffiti and litter if they agree to adopt a street or a block. Also picks up and disposes of collected litter.

Organizations that provide labor and/or supplies to paint over or remove inscriptions, designs and other markings that deface buildings, walls, rocks and other artifacts or natural structures.

Graffiti Removal

Programs that are responsible for the regular sweeping of public streets to remove dirt, litter and other debris. Included are special cleanup crews that respond when pressure washing, degreasing or other techniques are required to remove spilled oil, blood, fecal matter, trapped litter, bird droppings and other messes that are left when accidents are cleared, animal carcasses are removed or grimy buildups accumulate over time.
