Operates self-managed overnight shelter at 10 sites throughout Seattle; serves over 200 men and women per night. See website for complete list of intake times and locations.
Operates a self-managed overnight shelter program at up to 10-15 sites throughout Seattle, providing shelter for over 200 clients per night in the indoor shelter.
Some facilities serve only men or women; others serve both men and women, with separate sleeping areas.
Trans* clients are served as they self-identify.

Intake is usually available in Spanish as well as English; other available languages at intake vary, though clients are able to access shelter regardless of language or ability to speak.
All facilities provide mats and blankets. Many sites are wheelchair accessible and some provide shower facilities.
Clients must leave the shelters early each morning.
Individual shelters may potentially refrain from screening on days that they are full.
Shelter screenings for night-of only; no day(s)-in-advance screenings.

Coordinated Entry at the Housing Resource Center offers centralized intake, assessment, and coordination. The Housing Resource Center is the coordinated entry point for most housing services except the Night-By-Night shelter.
Coordinated Entry at the Housing Resource Center is a centralized intake, assessment and coordination point which determines appropriate level of assistance to stabilize housing and assist self-sufficiency. HRC tools include: rent assistance, security and utility deposits, background screening fees and other direct housing costs; referrals to site-based housing, housing voucher and other programs; linkages to life skills, financial literacy, and/or employability training and career-building services; plus referrals to partner entities.
Enhanced Night Shelter Program offered by YWCA Seattle King Snohomish Angeline's Center for Homeless Women
Operates nightly shelter for homeless women, ages 18 and older; includes intensive case management; no maximum length of stay; specifically designed for clients working toward stability and permanent housing.
Operates 75 beds of nightly shelter for women that includes intensive case management services.
Lockers available for overnight participants.
Program is designed in particular for clients actively working on long-term stability, with the goal of moving into permanent housing.
Length of stay depends on each client's progress in the program.
Provides supportive shelter for homeless pregnant women & single-parent families with children ages 17 & younger. $50 deposit; $50 monthly program fee.
Provides supportive shelter including 7 shared duplexes comprising of 14 units for single-parent families with children.
Length of stay varies, determined on a case-by-case basis.
Families live independently or in shared two-bedroom duplexes.
Housing is alcohol- and drug-free with a zero tolerance policy.

Men's Enhanced Shelter Sea Sha Inn offered at Seattle Indian Center at Roy Street
Provides a nightly shelter for men ages 18 and older; includes breakfast and shower facilities. Register first at Drop-In Center on Dearborn Street. Expands capacity during severe weather. A few extra emergency beds are available during adverse weather.
Provides an enhanced shelter and day center for men in need. Offers lunch, dinner, hygiene facility, computer access and more. Once day center is closed, building is only open to shelter clients.
Opens increased capacity during severe weather.
Shelter Intake offered at Catholic Community Services
Conducts intakes for South King County shelters that serve adults; leashed pets and service animals allowed. Shelter services include supportive case management focused on housing. Provides essential needs support such as meals and toiletries to shelter clients.

At the shelters, adults experiencing homelessness receive shelter and essential needs support such as meals, toiletries and access to other basic needs items.
Provides supportive case management to identify and address barriers to housing stability. While housing is the focus of case management, staff also help community members set and meet goals for education, employment, family reunification, mental health and addiction recovery.
Shelter has no religious components.
Eastside Men's Shelter offered by PorchLight on Eastgate Way
Provides year-round shelter for men ages 18 and older; no children. Men sleep in bunk beds. Services for clients also include showers, washer, dryer, case management, and a small storage locker. Register at Day Center. Those with severe medical vulnerabilities may be housed in a nearby hotel.
Provides shelter for single adult men. Offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Men sleep in bunk beds.
Services for clients also include showers, washer, dryer, case management, housing navigation, employment services, and a small storage locker.
No limit to length of stay as long as client is at the shelter by curfew each night.
Those with severe medical vulnerabilities may be housed in a nearby motel, where they will be provided meals and access to all supportive services.
Provides shelter for homeless men ages 18 and older along with multiple support services to help clients exit homelessness. Requires $5 fee and valid ID.

Women's Shelter offered at DESC's Kerner-Scott House Women's Shelter
REFERRAL REQUIRED from case manager: Operates a shelter for adult women with mental illness. No children.
Operates a nightly shelter for 25 adult women with mental illness. Program offers beds, pillows, linens and blankets. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning.
DESC staff pick up clients in the evening, and return them in the morning.
Serenity House Enhanced Congregate Shelter offered at Serenity House Housing Resource Center - Port Angeles
Access to overnight services for the homeless under severe weather conditions.
Serenity House's Enhanced Congregate Shelter ensures homeless single adults have a safe place to sleep. Our services include: 3 meals daily, shower access, laundry, lockers, housing location/counseling, weekly onsite medical and behavioral health treatment, medical respite program, and limited transportation to and from downtown Port Angeles. The shelter can accommodate well behaved pets, emotional or service animals, and adult couples. Sobriety at entry is not required. Shelter in place is activated during "Blue Flag" extreme weather conditions.
Family Shelter offered at Serenity House Housing Resource Center - Port Angeles
Provides short-term emergency housing for Clallam County households that are literally homeless (sleeping on the street or in a car) and have one or more minor children.
Families consisting of at least one adult with at least one minor child (under age 18) may qualify for short-term shelter, transitional or permanent supportive housing in Port Angeles and Sequim, while the parent(s) actively participate in case management and savings programs to assist them in developing and implementing a long-term housing plan and obtaining permanent housing. Referrals are made by Housing Resource Center case managers.
Men's Shelter offered by Catholic Community Services' St. Martin de Porres Shelter
Operates an emergency shelter for single men, AGES 50 AND OLDER; service animals accepted.
Provides a 24-hour shelter for men ages 50 and older, with indefinite lengths of stay.
Offers shelter clients the following:
- Cubicles
- Blankets
- Laundry facilities
- Showers
- Clothing
- Housing assistance
- Hot coffee
- Spiritual counseling
- Memorial services for former clients
- A social room
- Referrals to other community resources
- Medical care with a registered nurse

Women's Shelter offered by WHEEL at First Presbyterian Church
Provides 46 shelter beds for women.
Provides 24-hour shelter beds for women at two locations within 5 blocks of each other.

Provides emergency shelter services in an open congregate setting to unhoused single women and families.
Offers breakfast, dinner, and snacks.
Provides case management and referrals to local resources and services, partnering with community organizations to offer comprehensive support.
Operates a 9-bed shelter for single women, ages 18 and older, with stays up to three months; call for screening.
Provides dormitory-style shelter for nine homeless women, with stays up to three months. Clients may remain at the shelter during the day. Curfew is 9:30 PM, nightly (flexibility offered for stability-related reasons). Volunteers provide dinners T-Su. Maintains small clothing bank on site, with referrals for interview and work clothing. Supplies shower/hygiene items and free Laundry facilities. Provides items for making breakfasts and sack lunches, and refrigerator space for clients' individual food. Staff provide mandatory housing-focused case management services, and monthly nurse visits. Shelter program does not include any religious components.
24-Hour Shelter Program offered at DESC's The Gateway
Provides overnight shelter for single WOMEN, AGES 18 AND OLDER; MEN, AGES 60 AND OLDER and vulnerable adults. Clients provided with bunk beds, blankets and an evening meal.
Offers overnight emergency shelter at two Seattle locations: Mary Pilgrim Inn and The Gateway, both in North Seattle. Shelters are for both men and women. Clients are housed in rooms, which are sometimes shared, and some meals are provided.
The main shelter also offers the following services:

Benedict House Men's Shelter offered at Catholic Community Services - Kitsap - Benedict House
An emergency housing program providing safety, stability, and supportive housing for single homeless men. Residents can stay for a period up to 90 days in an emergency bed.
Benedict House is an emergency and transitional housing program providing safety, stability and supportive housing for single homeless men and homeless men with children. Resident receive the help they need to rebuild their lives and to move them towards permanent housing, Resident stay for a period of up to 90 days in an emergency bed, and up to 2 years in the family unit.
Housing Crisis Support Center offered at Crossroads Housing
Provides coordinated entry and assessments for Mason County individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless.
Operates the coordinated entry program for Mason County. This program acts as the single entry point for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless. Arranges the initial intake, eligibility screening, and shelter placements for community housing programs, rental assistance, and other housing assistance programs.
Haines Street Cottages offered at Olympic Community Action Programs - Port Townsend
Provides emergency shelter for homeless families, and individuals if space is available. Clients can stay in 2 week increments for up to 90 days. Participants receive intensive case management and develop a self sufficiency plan.

Offers 24-hour enhanced shelter to adult male-identifying veterans; includes other services such as laundry, showers, case management and housing navigation.

Round-the-clock staff ensure safe and smooth operations. Participants have 24-hour access. Residents will work with their Housing Case Manager to create an action plan, addressing their barriers and working on next steps toward stable housing.
