Operates self-managed overnight shelter at 10 sites throughout Seattle; serves over 200 men and women per night. See website for complete list of intake times and locations.
Operates a self-managed overnight shelter program at up to 10-15 sites throughout Seattle, providing shelter for over 200 clients per night in the indoor shelter.
Some facilities serve only men or women; others serve both men and women, with separate sleeping areas.
Trans* clients are served as they self-identify.

Intake is usually available in Spanish as well as English; other available languages at intake vary, though clients are able to access shelter regardless of language or ability to speak.
All facilities provide mats and blankets. Many sites are wheelchair accessible and some provide shower facilities.
Clients must leave the shelters early each morning.
Individual shelters may potentially refrain from screening on days that they are full.

King County Emergency Family Shelter Intake offered by Mary's Place
Coordinates intake into emergency shelter for families at multiple locations throughout King County. Clients are screened for shelter openings that night. Will not turn families away in severe weather.
Coordinates emergency shelter for families with children as well as people who are pregnant, at multiple locations across King County. Once accepted into a shelter, families will be guaranteed an ongoing nightly spot in that shelter program. Provides supportive shelter for homeless pregnant women & single-parent families with children ages 17 & younger. $50 deposit; $50 monthly program fee.
Provides supportive shelter including 7 shared duplexes comprising of 14 units for single-parent families with children.
Length of stay varies, determined on a case-by-case basis.
Families live independently or in shared two-bedroom duplexes.
Housing is alcohol- and drug-free with a zero tolerance policy.
Focuses on moving families into stable housing. Provides services not limited to:

Eastside Men's Shelter offered by PorchLight on Eastgate Way
Provides year-round shelter for men ages 18 and older; no children. Men sleep in bunk beds. Services for clients also include showers, washer, dryer, case management, and a small storage locker. Register at Day Center.
Provides low barrier shelter for single adult men. Offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Men sleep in bunk beds.

24-Hour Shelter Program offered at DESC's The Gateway
Provides overnight shelter for single WOMEN, AGES 18 AND OLDER; MEN, AGES 60 AND OLDER and vulnerable adults. Clients provided with bunk beds, blankets and an evening meal.
Offers overnight emergency shelter at two Seattle locations: Mary Pilgrim Inn and The Gateway, both in North Seattle. Shelters are for both men and women. Clients are housed in rooms, which are sometimes shared, and some meals are provided.
The main shelter also offers the following services:
- Onsite medical care
- Mental health counseling
- Substance use disorder treatment
Enhanced Night Shelter Program offered by YWCA Seattle King Snohomish Angeline's Center for Homeless Women
Operates nightly shelter for homeless women, ages 18 and older; includes intensive case management; no maximum length of stay; specifically designed for clients working toward stability and permanent housing.
Operates 75 beds of nightly shelter for women that includes intensive case management services.
Lockers available for overnight participants.
Program is designed in particular for clients actively working on long-term stability, with the goal of moving into permanent housing.
Length of stay depends on each client's progress in the program.
Operates a nightly shelter for men experiencing homelessness at rotating host congregation spaces.
Operates a medium barrier shelter for 25 men experiencing homelessness at rotating host congregation spaces in Bellevue and Redmond. Men may access the following support services:
- Case management services are available
- 3 meals per day
- Laundry
- Showers
Men's Enhanced Shelter offered at Seattle Indian Center at Roy Street
Provides shelter, lunch, dinner and computer access for 40 men. Register first at Drop-In Center on Dearborn Street. Expands capacity during severe weather.
Provides an enhanced shelter and day center for men in need. Offers lunch, dinner, hygiene facility, computer access and more. Once day center is closed, building is only open to shelter clients.
Opens increased capacity during severe weather.
Provides emergency shelter in North Bend for pregnant and parenting women.
Provides emergency shelter for women who are pregnant and/or parenting at least one child on a full-time basis. Can serve up to seven families at a time, dependent on family size, in two homes on the same semi-confidential property.
Families receive their own private bedroom and shared bathroom.
Length of stay is not pre-determined, but tailored to each family's needs.
Program offers professional case management and services onsite.
Provides a six-month shelter program for 21 women focused on case management and helping women move to transitional, supportive or permanent housing. Service animals permitted.

Provides shelter for homeless men ages 18 and older along with multiple support services to help clients exit homelessness. Requires $5 fee and valid ID.

Blaine Veterans Center Enhanced Shelter offered by Compass Housing Alliance
Offers 24-hour enhanced shelter to adult male-identifying veterans; includes other services such as laundry, showers, case management and housing navigation.
Offers 24-hour enhanced shelter to adult male-identifying veterans. 36 shelter beds are separated by 3 short walls, with additional services including the following:
- Three meals per day
- Laundry services
- Showers and hygiene supplies
- Bus tickets for appointments
- Limited personal storage
- Kitchenette
- Computer and TV
- Onsite case management
- Housing navigation support
- Skill development opportunities
Round-the-clock staff ensure safe and smooth operations. Participants have 24-hour access. Residents will work with their Housing Case Manager to create an action plan, addressing their barriers and working on next steps toward stable housing.
Men's Shelter offered by Catholic Community Services' St. Martin de Porres Shelter
Operates an emergency shelter for single men, AGES 50 AND OLDER; service animals accepted.
Provides a 24-hour shelter for men ages 50 and older, with indefinite lengths of stay.
Offers shelter clients the following:
- Cubicles
- Blankets
- Laundry facilities
- Showers
- Clothing
- Housing assistance
- Hot coffee
- Spiritual counseling
- Memorial services for former clients
- A social room
- Referrals to other community resources
- Medical care with a registered nurse
- 3 light meals served daily

Women's Shelter offered by WHEEL at First Presbyterian Church
Provides 46 shelter beds for women.
Provides 24-hour shelter beds for women at two locations within 5 blocks of each other.
Services include:

Provides intake for overnight shelter for single women.
Provides emergency shelter services in an open congregate setting to unhoused single women and families.
Offers breakfast, dinner, and snacks.
Provides case management and referrals to local resources and services, partnering with community organizations to offer comprehensive support.
Operates a 9-bed shelter for single women, ages 18 and older, with stays up to three months; call for screening.
Provides dormitory-style shelter for nine homeless women, with stays up to three months. Clients may remain at the shelter during the day. Curfew is 9:30 PM, nightly (flexibility offered for stability-related reasons). Volunteers provide dinners T-Su. Maintains small clothing bank on site, with referrals for interview and work clothing. Supplies shower/hygiene items and free Laundry facilities. Provides items for making breakfasts and sack lunches, and refrigerator space for clients' individual food. Staff provide mandatory housing-focused case management services, and monthly nurse visits. Shelter program does not include any religious components.
Women's Shelter offered at DESC's Kerner-Scott House Women's Shelter
REFERRAL REQUIRED from case manager: Operates a shelter for adult women with mental illness. No children.
Operates a nightly shelter for 25 adult women with mental illness. Program offers beds, pillows, linens and blankets. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning.
DESC staff pick up clients in the evening, and return them in the morning.
Provides a staffed motel program for unhoused community members. Program is frequently full, and motels are not located near a population center.
Motel-based shelter for people in need of a place to stay overnight.
Also assists with housing search, applying for SNAP benefits, applying for SSI/SSDI, applying for a lifeline phone/minutes, enrolling in Apple Health, and mail service.

Provides shelter for up to 24 women.
Provides 24-hour shelter beds for women at two locations within 5 blocks of each other.
