License & Registration Services offered by Washington State Department of Licensing Headquarters
Issues driver license, instruction permits and ID cards. Provides copies of driving records on request. Accepts name and address change information. Residents can register to vote or as an organ donor. ID card free to people who are homeless.
Provides information on how to obtain a driver license and license renewals, and issues driver licenses.
License renewals are valid for six years.
Processes address changes. Anyone changing addresses within the state of Washington has 10 days to notify the Licensing Department.
Office locations are available on the website. Some offices offer driving tests.
Lists driver training schools, driver testing locations and CDL training schools throughout Washington state.

- Limited assistance for obtaining ID/driver licenses
Opens a cooling/warming center during weather advisories. No beds available, but clients can sit (and sleep) at tables, eat, charge phones, watch TV, come and go, etc.

Provides direct funding grants to trans people to help pay for costs associated with updating legal documentation. Microgrants for HRT also available

Funds may be used for court fees, transportation and other directly related expenses. Clients work with a system advocate to help navigate any difficulties in obtaining documentation.
Funding is available for:

- Immigration Documents.
At this time funding is not available for Birth Certificate applications.
Also offers one year of hormone replacement therapy 100% covered, or 2 years of hormone replacement therapy 50% covered through vouchers.
