Provides low-fee counseling and psychological assessment services. Offers in person and telebehaviorall health counseling throughout Washington State that includes individual, family, children, adults, adolescents, and couples therapy. Art and Drama therapy also available. Assessments services are performed in person only. The Clinic is a teaching facility, and all services are provided by student counselors and therapists who are supervised by licensed psychologists and mental health counselors. Does not prescribe or manage medications.

This commonly occurs during an appointment with the primary care provider. Works with the patient to create an effective treatment plan that takes into account the patient's unique traditions and cultural practices. Helps the patient implement previous skills, learn new skills, and make changes to become well. If treatment requires medication, treatment team will either obtain recommendations from or refer to a specialist with advanced expertise. The behavioral health provider works jointly with patients, primary care providers and other health care team members to evaluate and treat any health concerns affected by behavior.

Provides individual and group therapy and evaluation and follow-up for those needing psychotropic medications.   Staff includes psychiatrists, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) with prescriptive authority and masters/doctoral level therapists.   Treatment is generally short term - usually six to 12 sessions with the goal of rapid stabilization. Offers groups focusing on mindfulness, meditation, anxiety, cultural identification and other issues and skills relevant to UW students.

The City University Counseling Center is a telehealth-only facility staffed by supervised graduate students from the Master of Arts in Counseling program. Offering individual, couples, and group counseling, it supports counselors-in-training as they build practical skills. Sessions are recorded for training purposes. While the center does not provide psychiatric care, assessments, case management, or crisis services, it can coordinate with external providers as needed.
