Among all locations of The Seattle Public Library, 400 programs are offered per month, as publicized on the Library website calendar.

- Facilities for children and adults with mental, physical or emotional disabilities
- Day care centers
- Senior centers
Home service is set up on a regularly-scheduled basis for homebound individuals with an illness of six months duration or longer.
Books-by-mail service is available for people who meet the criteria for home service.
These services are available in Seattle only.
Libraries may also be visited to escape heat or cold during extreme weather during the day.

Offers periodic individual assistance on basic computers and assistive technology devices. Focuses on those who identify as having a disability, including visual impairment.
Offers open computer lab, free tech help with computers, laptops, and smart phones, access to typing tutorials and other educational products and one-on-one instruction is available for low-vision or blind individuals. Instructs individuals how to use assistive technology software such as JAWS, ZoomText, and NVDA.

Offers seminar, meeting and classroom spaces to rent and provides public access computers.
The PNA is a non-profit serving NW Seattle fostering an environment where everyone belongs. The Phinney Center is a is a site of many events and also offers rooms to rent "on the hour, by the hour" and set-up with clean-up time is included in the rental time. Also manages rentals at the Greenwood Senior Center. Tables and chairs are available for most rooms. Rental rates vary based on the size and amenities of each room.

Drop-in center offers homework help, tutoring, computer access and substance use disorder avoidance education.
Coordinates a variety of programs to educate and develop youth and their skills.
- Power Hour: A homework help and tutoring program which offers separate sessions for grades 1-6 and 7-12.
- BE GREAT Graduate: Program for high school students. Provides 1:1 mentoring to those enrolled, assisting them on getting their homework finished on time, tracking grades for each of their classes, addressing school absences, and assisting with college applications, etc. Partners with local high schools.
- Club Read: 2nd and 3rd graders who need assistance in learning to read are matched with teen reading coaches for an 8-week program that runs three times per year.
- Smart Kids: For grades 1-5; assists youth with developing skills and knowledge to avoid alcohol and other drugs.
