Compassion Transitional Houses offered at Acres of Diamonds
Provides Christian-based transitional housing for women and their children. Serves women transitioning away from addiction, domestic violence, and other circumstances.
Shared housing facility. Residents have their own lockable room, with the rest of the house being shared with other women and their kids. Acres is a safe and zero tolerance program with random drug testing. The program is designed to help women get back on their feet.
Program includes case management, budgeting classes, parenting classes, healthy boundaries, relationships classes, once a week shared meals, daily chores, curfews, and grace group, etc.

Women and children participate in a safe, affirming, and accountable community and are equipped and empowered with the time, space, resources, and support necessary to heal and develop thriving lives. Clients receive daily support from their care team (mentor, program manager, life coach, and advocate), and have access to additional critical services to assist with transitioning to sustainable independent living.

Provides transitional housing for single women recovering from homelessness; stays of 6-12 months; does NOT serve women with kids or families.
Provides transitional housing for up to ten women. Residents receive light case management assistance to set and achieve goals.
Average length of stay is one year, but stays range from six months to one year.

Church offers a faith-based transition program for men who are recovering from substance use disorder, who are homeless, or for those being released from prison. Houses are located in King, Pierce, Yakima, Whatcom, and Spokane counties.
Offers a faith-based clean & sober housing program for men, providing structure and support.
Assists in developing healthy, responsible decision-making in the lives of all participants.
Operates 17 residential programs in King County, 3 in Pierce County, 6 in Spokane County, 2 in Yakima County, and 2 in Whatcom County.
Program involves character development programming, including the following:
- Pastoral counseling
- Bible studies
- House meetings
- Recovery meetings
- Personal accountability meetings
- Financial Planning meetings
Residents are encouraged to obtain employment. Employment assistance is offered through a network of supporting employers and organizations.
Also assists residents with the following:
- Fulfilling DOC requirements, if needed
- Obtaining driver's license and/or ID card
- DSHS Food stamps and public assistance
- Resume preparation and employment resources
Participants are asked to commit to three months in the program, but can stay longer if desired.

Offers housing and services to help homeless veterans return to a more traditional lifestyle. Applicants must have Honorable or General discharge, be clean and sober, with no history of violent or sexual offenses. Rent is 30% of income.
Offers a 60-bed transitional housing facility and services to help single homeless veterans return to a more traditional lifestyle. Services include: *Stable Housing - veterans in the program pay 30% of their income, meals are provided. *Case Management - veterans in the program work with case managers on an individualized plan with goals and accountability. *On-Site Chemical Dependency Services - veterans in the program have access to individual and group services, including AA and NA groups. *On-Site Mental Health Services - veterans in the program have access to indivudal group mental health services. May include life skills training and community volunteer work. *On-Site Job Center - veterans in the program have access to the job center including computers, internet access, fax, voicemail, and trainings provided by community providers. *Transportation - veterans in the program have access to van for case management related appointments.

Access to overnight services for the homeless under severe weather conditions.
Serenity House's Enhanced Congregate Shelter ensures homeless single adults have a safe place to sleep. Our services include: 3 meals daily, shower access, laundry, lockers, housing location/counseling, weekly onsite medical and behavioral health treatment, medical respite program, and limited transportation to and from downtown Port Angeles. The shelter can accommodate well behaved pets, emotional or service animals, and adult couples. Sobriety at entry is not required. Shelter in place is activated during "Blue Flag" extreme weather conditions.

Offers a 2-year residential program for women; required technology and life skills classes. Case managers offer guidance and support as residents work toward a living-wage career and self-sufficiency. May have rooms available for pregnant women. Usually has a waitlist.

The program focuses on employment readiness, financial independence, and personal growth. Residents live in fully furnished private rooms within shared dormitory-style homes, and participate in structured phases designed to help them stabilize, build skills, and prepare for permanent housing.
