This program provides full-service dental care for children, youth, and specific groups of vulnerable adults.

Connects low-income veterans and spouses with dentists who donate one-time, free, and comprehensive dental care. Works to provide a dental home with free dental treatment to eliminate pain, infection, and establish adequate function. Once treatment is completed, encourages these treated veterans to continue care as regular patients to prevent further breakdown and keep the donated dental care sustainable but will then be out of pocket to them. Cannot help with urgent needs.

Provides a range of dental services from routine preventative care to specialized care for children and teens with complex medical conditions, developmental delays and behavioral problems, including those who cannot be treated elsewhere.

Offers general dentistry, including exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings and extractions.   Provides limited oral surgery as well as limited crown, denture and root canal services. May refer out for more complex procedures. Provides limited emergency dental care services. Common emergencies include: - Pain, swelling or infection of the mouth or teeth - Untreated cavities - Broken teeth - Broken or missing fillings - Bleeding gums due to periodontal (gum) disease

Dental training program provides general dental care to people living with developmental and acquired disabilities.   Provides teeth cleaning, dentures and X-rays. Treatment may be provided by dental students, dental residents and dental hygiene students in addition to faculty, fellows and staff.

Offers primary dental care, including   -  Oral exams and consultations -  Oral screenings for infants and young children -  Oral health education and training -  Same-day appointments for emergency or urgent dental care -  Preventive services for children that include x-rays, cleanings, sealants and fluoride treatments -  Consultations and referrals for pediatric hospital care -  Regular appointments for routine and preventive dental care, including x-rays, restorations ("fillings"), scaling, composites, extractions and root canals -  Limited orthodontic treatment for children and adolescents -  Consultations for crowns and bridges

Staff in a mobile dental van provide urgent dental care for low-income people who do not have private dental insurance and cannot access dental care from any other provider. Clinics can provide fillings and extractions. They do not provide teeth cleaning, dentures, crowns or root canals.

Increases access to dental care throughout King County for children who have WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Once enrolled, provides assistance in finding a dentist that will fit location, timing and language preferences and assists in coordinating transportation and interpreter services. Website also provides lists of participating dentists by geographic area and includes Public Health dental clinics, community dental clinics and participating private dentists throughout King County. Additionally provides assistance in helping uninsured adults find low-cost dental services.

Hosts a foot care nurse, mobile medical, and diabetic shoe services.

Provides urgent care dental services for patients who are experiencing discomfort or feel like they need immediate care.   Service is limited to urgent care; follow-up care may be required at a later time. Care rendered will be dependent upon assessed needs.   Due to the high volume of patients seen, prospective users of this service are encouraged to first contact their dentist of record unless the problem is of a truly emergent nature. Dental services are provided by student dentists and supervised by faculty dentists.

Restorative Care -  As needed, the clinic provides fillings and stainless steel crowns. -  Full sedation services available. Care for Children with Special Needs -  Offers specialized care for children with special needs such as autism or Down syndrome.   -   Weekly Autism Clinic and Medically-complex services ensure that every child receives care appropriate for his or her specific needs Dental Surgery Center Comprehensive care with general anesthesia or sedation ensures that children can have a successful visit.   Dental Surgery Center is staffed with board-certified anesthesiologists to support the needs of every patient.   Helps with financial/transportation issues and offers free parking.
